Art Exploration #3 - Found Object Color Wheel Scavenger Hunt
Explorers collect and document their findings! For this activity I would like you to explore and collect things that are colorful. Your job is to create a color wheel using found objects. You may search inside or outside your house, but if you go outside remember to tell a parent. Once you create your color wheel I would like you to documents your sculpture.
Modifications: Create your color wheel finding just primary colors. If you were able to do that look for secondary colors.
Extensions: After finding primary and secondary colors, search for more specific "intermediate" or "tertiary" colors to add to your color wheel. See color wheels in attached examples.
When you are finished with your color wheel post to your seesaw journal:
1. Tap the green add button in Seesaw.
2. Take a photo of your color wheel
3. Describe what found objects you used.
4. Tap the green check to add to your journal.
5. Comment on another students findings.
